Every angler will have an equal chance to win.
It will go for 30 days from September 9 until October 8.
Fish can be entered from any of 20 different locations across Mackay and Isaac.
DRAWS, SUPER DRAWS & SECOND CHANCES
WORTH $1,000
Each day there is a draw for $1,000 cash.
A random selection of a valid location, species and length combination will be conducted prior to the fishing day and if a person catches that combination they take away the cash prize.
If nobody takes away the cash, it jackpots to a maximum $30,000 on the last day of the event.
WORTH $25,000
Additional to the daily draw, there will be three super draws, each worth $25,000 that will be announced on the website and the mobile app at 5am on the morning of each.
All entries on these three days will be entered into both the daily draw and the super draw, providing two chances to win.
IF NO JACKPOT GOES OFF
If none of the Jackpotted draws are won, then all entries go into the second chance draw where 10 fish will be drawn for $1000 each.
